My client a leading IT distributor is looking for an experienced IT Technical sales specialist to work as an internal product sales specialist, supporting the External Product sales specialist and the account managers within the company.
Experience selling any or all of the below would be an advantage for the IT sales specialist: * Packeteer, * Expand, * Citrix Netscaler, * Juniper Networks, * RSA security, * Symantec, * Checkpoint With experience in Cisco and Nortel networking equipment.
Any basic technical qualifications in these areas, with sales knowledge would be advantageous as this role is a technical sales role.
Requirements: * Sales skills, * Technical Knowledge, * Good communications skills, * Presentation skills * Work in a team environment
Responsibilities: • Managing pipeline business & forecast • Updating customer records within CRM System • Qualifying all quotation requests with a view to introduce complimentary technologies • Target prospect reseller's • Engage with all account managers and identify key accounts • Manage leads generated from marketing campaigns
Targets and Commission: * The role will be targeted against a combination of overall margin performance of the relevant products within their specific business unit. * Targets will be published by the Sales Manager at the start of every working month along with a spreadsheet to calculate earnings. * Commission will be paid as outlined in the contract issued at the start of an individuals employment.
