Senior Application Support Analyst required for a leading rail company in London. The Application Support Analyst will be involved in the preparation and submission of requests for change deployment to change control, and the management of the implementation process for new releases of supported applications. It is essential that the candidate has Document Management systems experience, preferably CCMS, and that you have a good technical knowledge of a range of applications. The ideal candidate will need to have skills in the following areas: ·Significant experience in support of the relevant applications or modules ·Technical knowledge and experience in amending the Oracle vanilla product to company requirements ·Experience of change management ·A good understanding of application architectures associated with document management systems such as Documentum. ·A good understanding of handling 2nd level application support calls. ·Experience of participating in or managing application maintenance upgrades. The candidate will be required to: ·Provide support for CCMS Document Management system application within the company ·Manage minor development of applications and related products to meet user requirements and strategic objectives. ·Develop metrics relating to use of the above modules of the system to guide training needs and system development ·Maintain problem information in the call tracking system, liaising where appropriate with the Problem Management Team and the IT Helpdesk. ·Identify and implement an appropriate resolution plan and escalate where necessary to the Customer Relationship team. ·Prepare and submit requests for change deployment to change control. Manage the implementation process for new releases of supported applications.
