A PHP developer, with experience over version 4 and 5, is needed to join our successfully growing team within this market leader. You will be involved in PHP web application development and migration from PHPv4 to 5 in the coming months. You will need to be proficient with proven experience in PHP web applications using basic object oriented techniques, on Linux or Unix with a good level of knowledge of MySQL. As our PHP developer, you will also need XHTML/CSS and some experience on JavaScript and or AJAX. This is the chance to be involved in both client-facing front end web development and internal administration interface projects, so you must be able to write structured and safe PHP code. Any experience of Perl would be a serious advantage as our back-end systems are Perl based- this is not essential but we encourage our team to branch out and learn new skills across the business.
