Based in the Public Sector, my client has an immediate requirement for a supplier delivery manager to join their existing team. You will have previous experience working in a multi supplier environment and will demonstrate experience liaising between internal and external stakeholders within a technical environment.

This role provides a focal point of the Programme for engagement with suppliers and other service providers across a broad multi-supplier environment. Responsibilities will include ensuring that requirements, plans, activities and products are identified and aligned to ensure supplier delivery complements and meets requirements for successful delivery of a new Central Payments System to time, quality and cost.

Skills:
1. Extensive and relevant Project/3rd Party Supplier Management and experience within a multi-supplier environment.
2. Demonstrate an ability to manage suppliers in the delivery of complex and large-scale IT solutions
3. An understanding of a range of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, Oracle's AIM methodology, CMMi etc
4. Experience of co-ordination and delivery of large scale plans for delivery of services/products from a range different suppliers into a single customer

Duties:
• Input to and subsequent management of the IT Solution Delivery Plan, ensuring Programme milestones are met
• Ensuring alignment between IT suppliers' plans and the IT Solution Delivery Plan
• Effective monitoring and co-ordination of the planning activities of IT suppliers and other service providers.
• Effective management and monitoring of IT suppliers and other service providers progress against their plans in meeting the overall IT Delivery Plan and key milestones
