The HR & Payroll Configuration/Business Analyst will support the development of the client's SAP deployment by providing business analysis and configuration expertise to deliver new developments and changes to the SAP system as required by projects. As required they will also work with external partners contracted to provide implementation expertise on SAP projects. The role will involve gathering information, investigating, analysing and documenting relevant parts of the organisation in terms of functions, processes and the information used to satisfy business requirements. Investigation and identification of business process requirements, making recommendations on how these can be delivered. Definition of the requirements and creation of viable specifications in preparation for the construction of new processes or information systems. Creation/changing and then testing all relevant configuration. The successful candidate will ideally hold current SC clearance and have the following skills and experience; • Have HR and Payroll configuration experience and will have worked with a variety of SAP environments on 4.6 and/or 4.7 • Experience of upgrade preferably from 4.6c to ERP 6.0 • Have IT business analysis experience • Have the ability to work with others to identify sensible recommendations which can then be turned into workable solutions • A good analytical brain • Be able to think creatively, particularly in terms of exploring unconventional or original recommendations for improved solutions • Be able to produce formal requirements and specification documents • Be able to produce and utilise test plans and test scripts/specifications • SC clearance
