My government client requires a UAD Analyst to support the governance of all UAD (User Access Devices) hardware and software management processes for infrastructure components across their offices. These include: BlackBerry, Desktop, Laptop and the File and Print Service. You MUST have basic security clearance for this role.

The post holder assists in ensuring that the reporting processes meet my clients expectations in terms of accuracy (location, usage, and coverage (numbers of assets) for both hardware and software. This is a key role to improve value for money.

The post holder also works with all the other infrastructure areas to set up governance reporting for the each discipline. Standardisation is a key role that this person will perform. The post holder also helps to manage (along with the UAD manager) the assets with key suppliers such as Aspire, Global Crossings, BT, etc, ensuring that the all aspects of UAD infrastructure meets the needs of the Department and working with suppliers to put in place continuous improvement plans for each part of the infrastructure.

The UAD analyst will support the UAD manger in the governance of the all UAD hardware and software infrastructure. This includes infrastructure that all UAD applications/agents run on. Specifically, this person must step up the governance of the discipline for each area listed below, working with the various managers to ensure proper reporting is set up in the following areas (some may or may not apply):

•Capacity / Performance Management
•Problem Management
•Change Management
•Continuity Management
•Service Level Management
•Release Management
•Configuration Management
•Availability Management
•Security Management

The role also has responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of the UAD management are customer focused, provide value for money (working with VFM/Finance) and where possible deliver improvements in both levels of service provided and deliver savings.
•Experience of UAD management, and the Governance thereof.

•Experience in Sourcing and Contract Management

•Qualification in ITIL best practice

•Experience of operations planning and associated processes

•Experience of business change management and delivering improvement in a Service based organisation.
