Enterprise Systems Support Analyst Our client based in York are looking to recruit a Enterprise Systems Support analyst, the main responsibilities will be to primarily to proactively monitor, manage and maintain all Enterprise servers, operating systems and associated peripheral equipment, to ensure that all systems and services are 100% available, you will also be required to work with computer operations analyst,developers and others to automate procedures. You will be monitoring systems, isolate and fix problems. Within this role you will be required to manage and monitor the following; Disc Space and storage Controllers in a SAN Environment System resources (CPU & I/O) Management of specific middleware and third party software Security Management Problem identification and resolution Inter-networking The suitable candidate will have experience and knowledge of the following;Unix Shells and shell sctipting,RISC Server platforms, Unix operating systems(Solaris,Redhat, Linux and TRU64), Unix tools and utilities,knowledge of networking protocols e.g TCP/IP, DNS,NIS,ans J2EE application servers.
