The candidate: - Degree educated, or equivalent education or experience - Experience in managing large budgets - At least five years direct project management experience - A broad, rather than in-depth knowledge of IT & telecom technology and strategy (although technical skills in UNIX, Windows NT, Oracle, SQL, networking and knowledge of SIM and SMS-C are advantageous) - Strong off-shore client management experience - Excellent written & verbal communications - Ability to work well with staff across all levels from senior to technical - Preferably a Prince 2 practitioner, with good knowledge of PM methodologies - High level of costumer focus - Negotiation and leadership skills NB - regular travel abroad to Middle Eastern clients would be required, making Middle Eastern language skills desirable but not essential.
