1st Line Support, Helpdesk, IT support:
Introduction
A prestigious FTSE 100 company is looking for a 1st Line support / Helpdesk. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business in one of its most exciting and prosperous times ever and to be involved with a number of projects.
Location This position is based in Norfolk.
Responsibilities/ Benefits
This role will offer an exciting opportunity to get involved with a number of activities integral to the success of the business. You will;
•Responsible for responding to calls placed via telephone and e-mail. •Be involved gathering relevant information for the call to either assist with first line resolution or escalate to the second line. •Monitoring the progress, escalation of more complex issues.
We are looking for candidate with the following skills;
•IT Helpdesk / Service Desk / 1st line support. •Excellent communication and customer facing skills. •Knowledge of Windows 2000/XP and Active Directory.
Desirable
Preferably you will have a background working in a customer facing role within IT, though this is not essential as there will be technical training on IT issues.
If you are a confident consultant, with excellent telephone and communication skills and you have some experience working in an IT environment then this may be the position for you!
