Job Title: Systems Analyst Location: Brentford Job Summary: An exciting opportunity to join the IT system development team, based at the clients office in Brentford. Responsible for working closely with the business to gather requirements for IT projects and preparing business cases and solutions. The Main Duties include :
Provision of IT estimates and cost/benefit analysis Initial analysis, in close conjunction with business users, resulting in creative yet practical solutions to business requirements. Documentation of business requirements and solution options. Design and scoping of releases in conjunction with ACIS team. Ensuring built IT solutions meet business needs through support of UAT. Participation in quality control and change management processes Participation in the on-going development of the IT strategy, working practices, etc Technical Skills Required: Strong systems analysis and design; Knowledge and preferably experience of structured methods (e.g. Opex, Prince2, CMMI); Knowledge and preferably experience of planning and testing tools (e.g. PlanView, Test Director, Quality Centre) Experience: Mandatory Experience in systems analysis and design. Esperience in an application development or support environment. Full development lifecycle experience Preferred Practical experience of structured methods / analysis techniques Insurance industry experience Qualifications Educated to ‘A' level or equivalent; Personal Attributes Self motivated, hardworking and positive individual with ability to work under own initiative Thrives in an environment of rapid change and uncertainty Systematic, thorough and logical approach to task completion. Strong planning and organisational skills.
