Assistant Accountant – Life and Health Insurance – London / Surrey
Junior Accounts Assistant required within a newly established Life and Health Insurance firm.
Role includes:
Preparing invoices and expense claims
Preparing payments for reinsurance, commission and GPR
Maintaining ledgers in Sun accounting system
Preparing monthly general journals
Maintaining a fixed asset register
The ideal candidate will have relevant accounting experience including account payables and bank reconciliation exposure ideally within the life and pensions sector.
Candidates must be competent using Microsoft Office and accounting systems. You must demonstrate a can-do attitude and strong communication skills with the ability to thrive within a small team environment.
ACCA or CIMA qualifications (or working towards) and previous experience in the life insurance industry are desirable but not essential.
