Job Title: Systems Engineer – Marine Radar Applications Location: Surrey Salary: Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits A Global Defence and Technology company requires a Systems Engineer to join a product engineering team in developing solutions for marine radar applications. As Systems Engineer your experience of systems design along with bid and proposal work will be integral to the steady growth of the business. The role To support the systems engineering group in the production of bid and proposal work, sales engineering support requests research & development activity for both commercial and military marine radar applications. You’ll be expected to provide support to a small team assigned to systems and bids & proposals. Generating innovative solutions to problems relating to radar systems, display systems and networks. This role will involve producing accurate and regular reports/project documentation with occasional overseas travel. Required skills: You’ll need to have strong systems engineering background ideally with experience of radar systems, networks and network topology from either a radar manufacturer or marine environment. Key skills would include: Experience in the production of bid and proposal work Knowledge of electronics and marine radar Experience in a research & development laboratory environment.
