Job Description:
Business Development Manager – New Business London Up to £75K basic (OTE £150K) The background This global organisation is a leading provider of information technology, consulting and business process outsourcing services. With a reputation for phenomenal service delivery and a commitment to growth and improvement they are now looking for a talented Business Development Manager with Utilities experience and a very good understanding of outsourcing to join their London-based team. The role You’ll be working tirelessly to generate new business for the organisation by networking with your existing contact list and those of colleagues. With a focus on professional outsourcing arrangements and Utilities companies the role will allow you to become an integral part of the continued success of this well-known organisation. The contracts that you’ll be winning will have a value in the region of £2-5 million, offering excellent opportunities to boost your bonus. Despite the downturn in the financial market the demand for outsourcing services is still high so this is a fantastic opportunity if you fit the bill to really make a name for yourself in the organisation going forward. You You’ll have a very strong sales and business development background, with demonstrable experience and proven good results. You’ll be adept at making and nurturing contacts and you’ll likely have an excellent existing network of contacts. You will definitely need a very good understanding of outsourcing, particularly offshore arrangements. You should also have experience and knowledge of the UK Utilities sector. All the usual traits (self-motivated, driven, eager to succeed etc) must be there in abundance. In addition you should have a real desire to provide the best solutions to potential clients, making sure the product on offer suits their needs. You will most likely be working for an outsourcing or BPO provider currently and be keen to make a move to one of the industries best-known and most highly respected players.
