A market leading consultancy services client is looking to recruit an IT Project Officer. This is a key role supporting the IT Management Team, IT Project Managers and the Corporate Programme Office. You will be working within a busy and dynamic team who need to support each other as well as other members of the business. The successfull candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation of the Project Management system within IT which records and tracks the progress and cost of work undertaken within IT, Production of management information, Maintain and oversee the IT reporting schedule, Collate IT progress reports, Provide a main communication point, Maintain the repository of IT project processes, templates and checklists, Participate in project reviews, Set up the directory structure for new projects and facilitate the production of IT project briefs.
Candidates require:
The candidate:
·Preferably degree qualified with a project management qualification
·Demonstrated track record of managing complex, large projects to completion
·Strong practical understanding of PRINCE 2 or similar
·Strong organisation and planning skills;
·Ability to motivate stakeholders through the presentation of new ideas concepts and solutions to project managers and other stakeholders
·Ability to relate with staff at all levels – IT, business owners, end users, and management.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Excellent workshop and facilitation skills
