Software Quality Engineer £31k-£33k + Bonus + Bens South Wales - Perm Seeking a talented Software Quality Engineer to undertake the design and development activities of systems and products and monitor process performance. This position is with a leading engineering company who have major growth plans and new project wins. As the successful candidate you’ll have a very good understanding of the system/product design engineering lifecycle. You’ll also have acquired a good understanding of contract quality conditions and project management. The role Generation of programme Quality Plans Surveillance of subcontractor QA activities Creation of a programme Audit schedule Consultancy and support/advice to Programme Managers Attend programme reviews Promote quality awareness Prepare quality reports, for internal and external purposes. Experience required You’ll be experienced in working to ISO9001, ISO90003 & TickIT requirements gained from an Engineering/Software Engineering discipline. You’ll also be a Lead Assessor with experience in Supplier Quality management. If you have experience of working on MOD Contracts, this would be an advantage.
