Flash/Actionscript – London 25k – 33k

My client is currently recruiting a Flash/Actionscript Devloper. They are an international Online Market Research specialist, offering their clients unrivalled global reach of online survey data collection with offices all over the world.

They are looking for a Flash/Actionscript Developer with extensive ActionScript programming skills, a creative flare and desire for innovation. You will play a key role in innovating and developing components to differentiate what they offer from those of their competitors.

Your components will work in conjunction with their existing frameworks and enhance the design and interactivity of their online surveys. The successful candidate will be led towards a comprehensive understanding my client's applications, how they build web pages and record data.

You'll work in a team of developers with expertise in Flash, Java, JavaScript, PHP and SQL, in a lively and stimulating environment where innovation and knowledge sharing is openly encouraged.


•At least 2 years' experience – academic or commercial - in Flash and ActionScript programming to a high standard. Examples of work are expected.
•A UK Degree (or equivalent) 2:1 grade or above
•Proven ability for innovative design solutions
•Ability to “think outside the box”
•Ability to standardise new and existing Flash components for easy implementation into by non-Flash programmers
•Some knowledge of AS3 and OOP required
•Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphics manipulation software
•Audio and Video manipulation: compression, editing etc.
•XHTML and JavaScript is advantageous
•Multi-tasking and working to deadlines in a fast-moving environment
•Ability to communicate technical points to non-technical people
•An element of R&D is encouraged, as well as keeping a finger on the pulse of latest technologies
•Elementary knowledge of Market Research and survey design is advantageous, but not essential
