This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SAP Financial Support Analyst to join a leading IT Organisation who have a powerful presence in the IT Market across the UK. With some of the most complex and exciting projects under their belt, they are expanding and have a new role for the SAP Financials Support Analyst to provide functional application support for a very large SAP environment. You will provide fit for purpose systems, solutions and processes and work in a team of support analysts to achieve the above within defined Service Level targets. You will be able to achieve specific annual objectives as agreed with the SAP Support Manager and respond to incidents and problems in accordance with agreed service levels, as well as perform routine support tasks and monitoring in line with defined activity schedules. The Analyst will provide expert consultancy and advice in the use of SAP Finance modules being proactive in recommending changes and ways of utilising existing functionality in support of business improvements. You will develop and configure SAP changes in line with release plans and provide guidance and advice on the development and maintenance of test scripts and training documentation, as well as being responsible for unit testing within the Finance functional areas. Involvement in integration, systems, regression and load testing and proactively staying abreast of SAP technology developments in the Finance functional areas. To proactively monitor and report on system performance, resolving issues as required. Essential Experience: Solid experience of working in a financial environment Good communication skills, written and oral. To possess good IT / PC skills, including the use of Microsoft Office or other comparable software including Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience in the following business process areas advantageous, but not essential : – Cash Receipting, Bank Statement processing / reconciliation, Customer Invoicing, Finance Journals, Reconciliations Experience working with SAP as an end user /support analyst Exp of working in an IT support environment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work outside standard working hours if incident resolution requires.
