Service Desk Engineer - Health - Central London
SKILLS: MICROSOFT ACCREDITATION, HP HARDWARE, WINDOWS, EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATION A new opportunity is now available for an experienced Support engineer who is also able to perform service desk duties at a London London based public sector organisation who is IDEALLY IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE. The skills required for this role are all round desktop support skills for a HP hardware and windows XP based estate. Basic Exchange administration knowledge is also required and an Microsoft accreditation would be seen as an advantage.
This role would suit an individual who has progressed from a service desk role into a second line support role. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running and will add value to the existing team that is already in place. The hours of support covered by the team are 7:00am until 7:00pm therefore the successful candidate must be able to work these hours, on a rota basis.
The organisation is currently going through a transformation project which involves migration and virtualisation of the server estate. This interim position will be providing cover for one of the team whilst they are seconded to this project.
