An exciting opportunity has arisen within my clients Systems Development team for a keen and enthusiastic web developer with a passion for front-end design and the technical skills to deliver a web application. The role will provide an opportunity to stay current with technology and have a significant impact on their products.
Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

•The design, development and testing of web sites/applications ensuring strong functionality and optimisation
•The design of pages, including graphics and functionality.
•Maintaining and improving existing solutions to keep our products at the leading edge within our sector
•Assisting the Systems Development Manager in strategy regarding web development, testing and deployment.

Requirements

•Proven web site/application development experience
•Ability to translate functional capability into ergonomic/easy-to-use design combined with visual appeal.
•Excellent communication skills
•Good attention to detail
•Flexible attitude
•Drive for continuous improvement
•In depth ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, CSS, (X)HTML, Javascript, XML, Web Services, IIS, Web/Graphical Design skills (all essential)
•OOP, SQL Server, Silverlight, Knowledge of web monitoring/site performance tools, automated testing (all desirable)
