IT System Architect - Skipton Up to £50K + Excellent Benefits IT System Architect required to deliver business business process, system design, working collaboratively with business architects, technical developers and subject matter experts. The role focuses on delivering the IT technology and business strategies into business systems. The The role will participate in helping define the technical strategies to ensure they are successfully implemented. The successful candidate will be reponsible for: Definition of, and recommendations on, the options for different technical implementations in assisting in the delivering business strategy. Provide consultation and advice to IT projects, ensuring they are progressing in a manner compatible with business and IT strategy. Participate in IT architecture development with a focus on implementation of the IT architecture elements. Seek ways to apply new technology to, and reuse existing technology for, business systems delivery; research and keeps abreast of technical trends and practices, inputs into the IT strategy, works with the Enterprise architects, delivers workable tactical solutions to support the strategies. Facilitate development of IT solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, technological options, and good it practices. Work as a key member of the IT team to contribute to a positive a team environment, and enable team to develop effective stakeholder engagement. You will have solid proven commercial experience in a similar role utilising the following skills: Bachelor's degree in information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project /technology experience. Significant experience in IT or working with complex IT systems, within a role that requires significant IT architecture interaction. Experience in or awareness of meeting facilitation and IT change management techniques. Ability to establish and maintain a high level of stakeholder trust and confidence. Ability and experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects. Understanding of business process management, workflow and integration methods and tools.
