A .Net developer is needed by our prestigious FTSE 100 client based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team.

The .NET expert is required to develop server-side components of a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 public-facing website using ASP.NET and the SharePoint API. This will involve development of custom NET user controls, custom controls and web parts.

The successful candidate will deliver technical solutions in response to requirements documentation and high-level technical design documents. They will also need to liaise with front-end HTML developers.

KNOWLEDGE

• Expert knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Web Parts development.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of professional software development practices.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, XSLT and other web technologies.
• Understanding of web accessibility.


DECISION MAKING

• Provide recommendations on the technical implementation in order to deliver against requirements, highlighting available options and the strengths and weaknesses of each.
