Based in the Public Sector, my client has an immediate requirement for an implementation Manager. You will be responsible for implementing a new IT strategy.
This role is based in Warrington, near Manchester and paying Market rates, duration, 3 - 4 Months

Main Duties:

•Producing and maintaining plans
•Managing issues on behalf of tower lead
•Providing point of contact for initial escalation
•Investigating and determining appropriate mitigating activities
•Providing overall representation for SIAM Tower issues ensuring impact to overarching FCS Programme is understood and quantified
•Liaising with CSD Staff & Supplier Representatives
•Organising and chairing meetings/workshops and ensuring any emerging actions are progressed.

Deliverables:

•To run workshops & meetings successfully. Producing and maintaining plans
•Managing issues on behalf of tower lead
•Organising and chairing meetings/workshops and ensuring any emerging actions are progressed.
•Escalation/Risk Log
•Ongoing Commercial Performance against plan

Skills:
•Should have some experience of planning and managing the delivery of projects and reasonable understanding and exposure to structured methods such as PM2 or PRinCE 1 or 2.
•Organised self-starter, personable and confident enough to run workshops and meetings as required, flexible and with a will-do attitude.
•About 7-10 years experience in government, blue chip or consulting IT would probably be necessary to give the necessary grounding
•Requires experience within a Service Management environment and be familiar with all ITIL Service Management disciplines.

•Must be a fluent user of standard office tools such as PowerPoint and XL
•Reasonable understanding and exposure to structured methods such as PM2 or PRinCE 1 or 2
•ITIL Managers certificate desirable. ITIL Foundation essential.
