Oracle DBA Manchester or Liverpool £25-40k + Bens Dep on exp Oracle Database Administration version 9i and 10g, managing critical production databases. Good knowledge of IT system architectures, Oracle RMAN backup and recovery procedures, oracle database performance tuning and optimisation. You will be an experienced Oracle DBA and be responsible for the database performance tuning and optimisation, backup and recovery. You will have strong knowledge of IT system architectures, particularly highly available UNIX platforms. You will have strong experience of supporting critical production systems and experience of using the Oracle RMAN backup and recovery and the Oracle dataguard contingency. Expertise in tuning and optimising databases is also expected. Knowledge of IT system architecture in particular AIX and Solaris UNIX systems.
