IT Technician/Administrator/Support required for 3 month contract based Brentwood, Essex, needs to be available immediately for interview and start.
My prestigious client requires a IT Administrator/Technician/Support person on a 3 month contract based in Essex, you will need to be available immediately for interview and start.
You will supporting up to around 100 users.
Your main remit will be to administer the Windows 2003 network, consisting of a Windows 2003 domain controller, file/print server, Exchange 2003 server, server running Access/SQL databases, Blackberry Server. There is also a Unix Server running a Sage ERP system. Your role will also be to provide desktop support to the 100 users using MS Office 2000/2003 running on Windows XP/2000.
Because of this ideally you will have a few years experience under your belt to be able to do the above and have demonstrable experience evident on your cv.
Other tasks could involve areas such as being involved with the company intranet/website, so you will be given exposure to these.
