Development Manager - Bedfordshire - up to £60,000
My client is the leader in their industry and is growing very quickly. They are looking for a Development Manage to join their growing business. The right Development Manager will have a team of 5 Development Team Leaders reporting into them who each have a team of 12.
The Development Manager's responsibilities cover man management of the team, resource allocation, project delivery and strategy for product development. This position also involves recruitment, engagement and management of external and internal contractors and third parties as required. In addition the Development Team Manager will have responsibility for ensuring that quality processes and procedures are in place and met and external standards followed as appropriate.
You will need a solid grounding in project management for technical projects. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and idelly experience of developing high volume products and/or systems with large numbers of users.
Solid grounding in software development (C++, C#, .NET, ASP) on windows platforms is essential as is pevious development and design experience in database technologies, specifically using sql on sql server and Informix platforms.
The company offers excellent benefits and the salary for this role is up to £60,000 for the right Development Manager.
