Application development team lead required for a leading transport infrastructure company. The position is to lead the e-Business solutions centre team and manage development requests from design through to delivery. Providing task management and advice to developers and acting as the subject matter expert for the Oracle e-business suite. Candidates will task manage (not people manage) the development team, manage development requests and deliver fixes to bugs in custom code identified by functional / technical support, review with stakeholders to verify that tools and solutions provided meet business requirements, and manage recovery of time / cost against projects via OTL and working with project managers to enable forecasts of deliverables. Candidates should have been a team lead before in a team of about 6, the role is about 70% hands on, and 30% team leading. Essential skills include: Oracle e-business suite, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Reports 6i, Oracle Forms 6i, discoverer, Workflow, Shell Scripting and Oracle framework Development. Candidates should be adaptable and understand project and software lifecycles.
