My client, a top Law Firm in Manchester currently has an opening for a candidate with a proven track record within a legal IT environment.

You shall be joining an existing Development team, working on a variety of applications specific to the legal sector. Primarily concentrating on case management systems, web applications and other bespoke software applications.

The role will encompass full lifecycle applications development, and elements of analytical work and requirement gathering. As well as this you will develop and enhance solutions and provide fixes, where appropriate. You will be required to analyse change requests ranging from minor fixes to major functional changes and implement these changes whilst following business process and adhering to agreed standards and methodologies.

The role requires you to work as a hands on developer with a strong programming background and analysis techniques. Candidates should be familiar with applications such as Axxia or Solcase or Norwel or any other legal software.

Exposure to structured programming languages such as VB, VB.NET or C# and SQL Server will all go heavily in your favour. My client is a leading employer, with a very low labour turn over and believes in employee investment and career development.
