Solution Architect with GIS required for a leading transport Infrastructure company. The role will be working as part of the Corporate Network Model Programme which will deliver a single view of the locations of the companies primary asset infrastructure and operational geography. Candidates should have experience working as a solutions architect at both programme and project levels and be fully conversant with Geospatial information and technologies, Working in environments where services are delivered via outsourced arrangements, applying GIS concepts and technologies to enterprise solutions designs, working knowledge of COTS and open source GIS products delivering desktop, web based serverside and database applications, Oracle Spatial, ETL Tools and datawarehousing. Integration concepts (eg EAI), web concepts, middleware concepts, development lifecycles and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
