An experienced APPLICATIONS MANAGER is needed for a fantastic career opportunity. Joining a FTSE100 Organisation who are expanding rapidly and who have a portfolio of complex and greenfield Projects, you will manage the APPLICATION team who consist of Analysts, Developers and DBA's. You will provide a single point of contact for APPLICATION related issues and escalations on this large account, and will provide technical guidance for staff and ensure team compliance to account process and procedures including incident, change and release management. Dealing at Stakeholder level, and with third party suppliers, you will have a strong background within Applications Management.
It is Essential that you have STRONG experience with:
• Application management experience
Direct line management of staff including review process and objective setting
• Involvement in direct customer and/or user interaction
• Resource planning and scheduling
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
• Management of a formal change process
• Management and reporting on a formal Incident and Problem process set
• Business analysis experience
• Management reporting in a formal team structure
Desirable Experience:
Delivery of IT services to an agreed and measured level
• Financial and/or budgetary management
• Knowledge and basic capability of Microsoft Project
• Third party supplier management including management against SLA/OLA
• Experience of ITIL based processes and ISO 20000
• Involvement is delivery of services directly associated with business and/or IT based transformation projects
• Knowledge of development lifecycle
