Business Analyst - You'll be able to analyse complex operational / business requirements on a major project within this leading financial services company. Working closely with a senior analysts you'll produce business requirement specifications, functional specifications and system testing specifications. Liaises with internal teams, Insurers, suppliers and other 3rd parties as required.Undertakes and documents feasibility studies.Analysis, specification and system testing of large, complex or business critical systems, both bespoke and package.Performs system testing and assists in user acceptance testing where appropriate.Investigates IT production system problems, making recommendations for problem resolution.Contributes to the request for information and invitation to tender processes. Candidates require solid commercial analysis experience obtained in an IT or business department, and experience of the insurance, retail or retail financial services sectors is desirable. Also required is Object Oriented Design, Data modelling, Functional modelling and Business process modelling. In addition any experience of UML, T-SQL and knowledge of SQL Databases is highly desirable. This position will focus on Web based projects, operational and the companies on-line capability so if you have any previous experience in these areas it would be highly beneficial.
