Investment Bank currently requires an experienced Platform Manager to manage their infrastructure environment consisting of Networks (Firewalls, Gateways, Proxy, LAN, and GWANS), UNIX, Storage, Databases, Windows, Market Data and Citrix. You will be looking after a small team supporting and engineering this environment, be in charge of putting in processes and setting up strategies around Comms and generally improve the speed to the market. You will be expected to build strong relationships between PM's and other team within the bank and build an architectural function around the area. You will need excellent experience of managing teams as well as experience of Networks, Firewalls, Proxy's, UNIX, and Storage and be excellent at managing and building relationships. Any experience with Windows, Databases, Citrix or Market Data will be a major advantage.
