Overview You will work as a member of the Merchant Integration team to ensure a high quality of service. This will be achieved through the development of 'agents' which gather information from our clients to display on the website. You will be required to work closely with our clients and our sales team to understand the client's needs in order to integrate their products on to the site. In this role you will report to the UK Merchant Integration Manager.
Your Responsibilities • Maintain existing clients and agents using our in-house development tools. • Technically set up new partnerships with clients, and develop, test and implement new Agents. • Work with the sales team to provide an ongoing and high quality service to new and existing clients using accurate and professional communication.
Your Experience • You will have formal academic experience of computing technologies (BSc or equivalent-2:1 or above). • Experienced with modern internet technologies: HTML, XML & Javascript. • Experience of writing SQL commands • Programming language experience a plus. • Working knowledge of Linux and/or UNIX.
Your skills • You're a team player who can take the initiative and handle areas of responsibility. • You're a person who takes genuine interest and is committed to their work. • You have got good communication skills in person and on the telephone. • You are confident and outgoing and can explain and display info to team members and clients.
Although there will be elements of the job which would require programming, this is not a programmer role- as well as the above integration, you will be involved in technical/sales support.
