Large corporate firm is currently seeking a Senior UNIX Administrator to join an internal management team and support Unix Systems (AIX & Solaris) in a professional environment.

Acting as a senior member of the UNIX team, your role will involve a good mix of Project/ Systems Admin work to ensure projects are delivered on time and in-line with programme objectives. Inc. Provision of high-end technical support/ implementation/ management, designing infrastructure architecture, maintaining systems software, allocating project deliverables and other operational areas to ensure high availability.

With at least 3 years experience of AIX and UNIX Systems and strong team-working skills, you will have knowledge in some of the following technologies; Solaris, Clustered multiprocessing (HACMP), Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), NIM backups, SAN’s, Websphere, Oracle, DB2 and Apache.

This is an excellent opportunity with a starting salary of c.£40,000 + benefits with additional out of hours allowance and overtime available.
