Lead Project / Programme Manager, City of London, £58k - £100k pa + excellent benefits

Leading financial organisation is looking for a Project / Programme Managers in order to play a key aspect in the ongoing growth and expansion of the organisation into the global market.

You shall play an integral part within the IT Payments and Cash Management team, responsible for successful management of the group of projects for the Global Payments Investigations system rollout.
In this key role you will assume responsibility for the successful delivery of the programmes ensuring the programme strategy is correct whilst also working to develop and maintain the appropriate environment to support each project. You'll have previous experience working in a large global services organisation in an IT leadership, development or operations role with a proven experience in multi-release based projects.
You'll also have a good understanding of payments processing with an excellent knowledge of all stages of the IT project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities shall include: -

· The overall management control and delivery of business and IT projects with a value of £4million - £15million.
· Accountability for creating project deliverables that meet or exceed the expectations of the project stakeholders, this includes managing changes to the size or scope of those deliverables.
· Directs, manages and co-ordinates team members, including those from suppliers and external vendors.

You shall have previous experience leading project teams within the financial services sector and has extensive experience of stakeholder management. The Prince 2 formal project qualification is highly desirable and you are expected to have had some exposure to the ITIL principles.
