TELECOMS NETWORK ENGINEER, PARIS/ LONDON £40k

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Telecoms Network Engineer to join a leading telecoms infrastructure management consultancy based in offices worldwide. They are experienced sustained growth and expansion and as such they are now looking to expand their Operations team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful network engineer will be required to manage customer POP sites throughout Europe and install premise equipment on customer site. Initially based in Paris for the first three months, this position offers excellent opportunities to travel to client sites across Europe. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various telco equipments and cabling within data centres. Alongside this, you will be expected to complete CPE equipment installation on site and effectively manage all personnel assigned to that particular project. The successful engineer will be expected to project manage and liase with clients on cost, time scale and specification to ensure expectations are met and ensure that site paperwork and process documents relating to POP sites are maintained. On completion, you will assist in the production of as built drawings and test results on completion.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must have:

CCNA certification
Considerable commercial engineering experience within a telecommunications environment
Strong working knowledge of SDH, Ethernet and Data principles
Experience in installing and troubleshooting SDH and Data Networks
Valid UK driving licence
The ability to lead a project, work well on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
