Java Developer

My client is looking for a highly skilled Generalist Java Developer, Java Developer with Business Analyst, Java Developer with strong UI design, Java Developer with Automated Testing to join them in their Edinburgh offices on a permanent basis

We are looking for a candidate with a background in Java development, design and is current with the latest Java, both Standard and Enterprise editions. Core skills you will be getting to work with on a daily basis are JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Web Services, Spring, Hibernate, Java SE 6, JEE/J2EE. Proficiency in some of the following technologies must be demonstrable during an interview: Hibernate, Spring, Servlets, Java Server Pages, XML, XSL, XSD, JAXB, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, Axis, Apache CXF, JMS. Ideally we would like a candidate who has several commercial web sites under their belt, leveraging good standards of web design and use of technologies like jQuery but this is not essential.
