Programme Office Administrator - 6 months - London

My client is looking for a Programme Office Administrator who will be reporting to the Programme Office Manager supporting the planning and coordination of projects within a large programme of work required to support the business strategy. Provision of services within the programme to ensure compliance with best practice in project control, quality assurance and governance.

kills, Knowledge and Experience required
- Comprehensive experience working within a Programme/Project Office environment.
- Proficient in the principles, methods, tools and techniques for the effective project office management of a project/programme.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good software skills, in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project and Visio
- Is able to work with discretion, ensuring that confidential information to which they are exposed is treated as such
- Quality, detail and delivery focused
- Independent, able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Dynamic and flexible.
- Respond well to changing priorities from different sources.
- Enjoys challenge, is comfortable in a changing environment and adapt easily to new responsibilities and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining project/programme processes, procedures and documentation to enable effective project control and governance.
- Monitor, report and provide escalation mechanism for project/programme risks, issues and change control management.
- Collation, analysis and delivery of timely, accurate project/programme Management Information.
- Delivery of effective communication to all interested parties to support effective decision-making and manage the smooth and integral delivery of the portfolio
- Provide an administrative service to project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
- Maintains generic standards, processes, procedures, tools and techniques to support project/programme delivery.
- Provision of general administrative duties.
- Provision of proactive support to Project Managers to assist in highlighting key areas of concern.
