The role: Your main objective will be to lead project or analysis of one or more credit risk disciplines in support of a newly established corporate portfolio with an annual turnover up to £5m. You will execute research as well as analysis in accordance with risk appetite. Moreover, you will communicate the performance of credit risk accounting items to all stakeholders and represent your team at meetings and committees. Coordinating with other parts of the business including finance, collections, group risk, you will be responsible for the execution of periodical forecast updates in line with performance of actual and other factors. On a regular basis, you will review the performance of the actual against expectations and communicate any variances to all stakeholders. Also, you will take responsibility for coaching other members of risk and proactively address key developmental opportunities.

Essential skills/ qualities:

• Proven Credit Risk/ Financial Forecast Modelling experience
• Highly proficient SAS/SQL and EXCEL skills
• Excellent communication skills, ability to package ideas well
• Good academic background, completion of a degree in relevant subject. Masters or good first degree. Relevant work experience also considered

The salary: The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £50,000 plus a highly competitive benefits package including very good bonus and pension potential
